Terms of Service

Effective date: July 6, 2026

These terms govern your use of Vantield Monitor, the uptime monitoring service operated by Vantield LLC ("we", "us") and available at monitor.vantield.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Vantield Monitor performs HTTP checks against URLs you configure, records the results, and sends notifications when your services become unavailable or recover. The service is provided as-is and evolves over time - features may be added, changed, or removed.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, the security of your credentials, and all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old. One person or legal entity per account owner; team members may be invited through the app.

3. Acceptable use

You may only monitor endpoints you own or have permission to monitor. You must not use the service to:

  • Perform load testing, stress testing, or denial-of-service attacks - monitoring checks are lightweight, periodic requests, not traffic generation.
  • Probe, scan, or test the security of systems you do not have authorization to test.
  • Monitor endpoints in a way that violates a third party's terms of service or applicable law.
  • Resell or white-label the service without our written agreement.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service itself.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Where practical, we will contact you before taking action.

4. Plans and payment

The service offers a free plan and paid plans as described on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices may change; we will give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change affects an existing subscription. You can cancel at any time - cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial refunds are issued unless required by law. If your usage exceeds your plan's limits, we will notify you rather than interrupt monitoring immediately.

5. Your data

Monitor configurations, check results, and account data are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of the data you provide. You grant us the rights needed to operate the service - storing your configurations, executing checks against the URLs you specify, and delivering notifications on your behalf.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep the service continuously available but do not guarantee it. An uptime monitor is not a substitute for your own redundancy: checks can be delayed or missed due to maintenance, infrastructure failures, or network conditions between our checkers and your endpoints. The service does not currently carry a contractual SLA. Check results reflect what our infrastructure observed and may differ from what other observers see.

7. Intellectual property

The service, its software, design, and branding belong to Vantield LLC. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is in good standing. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the service except where the law permits it regardless of this clause.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, extended non-payment, or if we discontinue the service - in the last case we will give at least 30 days' notice. On termination, your data is deleted in line with the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vantield LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages - including losses caused by downtime the service failed to detect or alerts that were delayed or not delivered. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When changes are made we will update the effective date above and notify account holders by email. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
